An English showcase
Host towns and cities
From the Quayside in the north east, to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in the south east, 18 different towns and cities from across England will play host to some of the biggest names in Rugby League for RLWC2021. Each of these towns and cities will be a huge part of the tournament from the venues the teams will be playing at for a shot at RLWC2021 glory, as well catering for all the off-field preparations and training bases for each of the 32 competing teams.
Rugby League World Cup 2021 will crisscross moors, mountains, historic towns and buzzing metropolitan cities, showcasing a diverse, welcoming culture and all that England has to offer fans.
Our commitment to the North
RLWC2021 are delighted and proud to have partnered with the Cabinet Office as part of our commitment to the Northern Powerhouse.
Whilst the tournament will be hosted across England 80% of the hosts towns and cities for tournament will be located in the Northern Powerhouse region; Doncaster, Huddersfield, Hull, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle, Sheffield and York supporting the governments vision and £25 million investment into the tournament and its legacy.
