Sue Catton - UK Sport Representative

Sue has over 30 years’ experience working both professionally and as a volunteer in sports events and management. Most recently Sue was Head of Events and Competitions at England and Great Britain Hockey, delivering four major European and World level back to back events, culminating in the successful Women’s Hockey World Cup in 2018. Sue continues to lead the Big Stadium Hockey programme for the NGB.

Previously Sue was the Sport Manager for both Hockey and Wheelchair Rugby at the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Other roles have included National Director of the innovative Inclusive Fitness Initiative, developing the expertise and culture in the fitness industry to welcome disabled people.

A Director of MLS Contracts Ltd, a Sheffield based sports consultancy, Sue has also held Non-Executive Director positions with the International Hockey Federation and England Hockey.

A sports science graduate and Athletic Union President at Loughborough University, Sue also has a long-standing passion for playing and watching sport. She is married and lives in Sheffield.
